Q&A

Dear Karen, I believe some of the ingredients have an energizing effect, would you therefore advise against taking 1-2 scoops in the evening? Thank you and best regards Alex
That's right. AM contains B vitamin so it will give you a steady supply of energy. Therefore AM is best taken in the morning or at lunch time, not later in the day.
Hi, I bought this as I'm dealing with a salicylate intolerance, but am confused...3mg of a substance is very close to zero. How is that small of an amount doing anything beneficial for the body? For example, when you buy riboflavin supplements they typically have at least 100mg in them, this only has 3mg.
Hi Janelle, that's a good question. The recommended daily intake for Riboflavin (vitamin B2) is 1.3mg so the amount in AM Activated multi, which is 3mg, is plenty. Our vitamin B2 is also in its activated form so it is more potent than other brands (most use cheap riboflavin that needs converting in your body). I see other brands put 100mg of B2 in their supplements and I think that is potentially harmful as your kidneys need to filter this out of your body. This is where brands get it wrong. More is not better. So 3mg is the perfect amount of B2 and we stand by our formulas for having the highest quality and safety.
My daughter is very picky and I have never used your product before. Is there a flavor to the supplements. If not what do you recommend mixing the powder into beside water? Oat-milk ok? Im just stating the book and only to page 24.
Hi Tiffany, the supplements are unflavoured and they are both slightly sweet thanks to the glycine. They can easily be mixed into drinks including oat milk. PM is completely undetectable this way (it also goes well in mashed potato), and AM is slightly sweet with a faint vitamin C taste that is easy to mask if needed. Both taste pleasant.
Hello, Is there a version of the AM supplement that doesn’t contain Iron?
Hi, we are bringing out an iron-free version soon.
Hi! I've been reading The Eczema Diet book and am keen to try out the recommended supplements to test their effects on my eczema. I found your website and was excited to see that the supplements you sell include most of the vitamins & minerals mentioned in the book! However, the quantities differ and I just wanted to check this with you. For example in the book, the recommended dose of Vit C is 80mg but the AM supplement only has 30mg a day. Would you recommend taking more of the supplement to meet the 80mg quantity mentioned in the book? Also, is there a reliable and trusted Vit D supplement brand you can recommend as I see this is missing from the AM and PM supplements? Many Thanks! Geena Sudra
Hi Geena, thanks for your questions. I reduced the amount of vitamin C in AM as I found new research showing it is best taken in lower doses (as high dose vitamin C can make skin itchier). So I don't recommend taking more vitamin C. Re vitamin D, I kept this out of the formulas as it should only be taken if you have vitamin D deficiency (as too much vitamin D is not good for you, especially if you live in a sunny climate). So I suggest having your vitamin D levels checked by a doctor first.
Is it safe to use AM and PM products when planning pregnancy and during pregnancy?
They should be fine to use before pregnancy. During pregnancy you should take a pregnancy-specific multi-vitamin supplement as it is designed for this purpose.
What is the youngest age you can use this product? Is it safe for a 9 month old?
Hi, thanks for your question. The supplements are for age 1+, so wait a few months before giving it to your child.
